This text constitutes a theoretical reflection with the purpose of reflecting on the contributions of Habermas's thought to research in Collaborative Learning from a humanistic perspective. In immersing ourselves in this author's works, we sought markers of his thought that are relevant to research in humanistic education, aiming to reflect on how this thought also permeates other theorists in the fields of Education and Cultural Studies. From the analysis and interpretation of the selected references, we constructed articulations, which we call links between Habermasian thought and conceptions of humanistic collaborative learning, namely: Link 1: Collaborative Learning through communicative action; Link 2: Emancipation co-constructed through communicative rationality; Link 3: Consensus building with inclusion sensitive to difference; and Link 4: Cognitive theory of morality and mediation in Collaborative Learning. These links demonstrate the importance of looking at the field of Collaborative Learning paying attention to political and cultural aspects, showing how power relations are implicated in educational practices.
