This manuscript presents an interview with Professor Monica Ribeiro da Silva, who aims to share her understanding of issues related to the conditions of provision and guarantee of the right to quality social education in the context of secondary education. With a focus on the right to education and universal secondary education, which calls for comprehensive training, it highlights the valorization of teachers, the “Pé-de-meia” Program, and expectations related to the new National Education Plan.
