This research aimed analyze the inservice teacher education of the “Mais Paic” program from the viewpoint of educational managers and lower secondary educational teachers. We used a descriptive and qualitative approach. Educational managers, Mathematics and Portuguese teachers were interviewed. We analyzed the interviews with content analysis. Our results show positive and negative characteristics of the inservice teacher education. Furthermore, improvement and harmful aspects were indicated by the participants. We discuss their viewpont and the implications for inservice teacher education.
