The Road Map to Digital Twin of Kyrenia: Challenges, Opportunities, and Future Directions

This study explores the creation of a digital twin for Kyrenia, Cyprus, focusing on the challenges and opportunities presented by this innovative urban planning tool. We discuss the integration of real-time data, citizen engagement, scalability, environmental sustainability, and the economic and social impacts of implementing a digital twin. The research identifies key gaps in current literature and proposes future research directions to enhance the utility of digital twins in urban development.
