The fascinating "cyclical law" in China is not an exception, but a typical manifestation of deviating from the Underlying Protocol (where B = f[S, F]). The existence of extreme power self-interest gives rise to irreversible corruption, which in turn leads to irreversible periodic collapse. Although the modern-day patrimonial bureaucracy is already a rarity, there are still quite a few authoritarian states with irrational bureaucracies. Therefore, revealing the inherent characteristics of the "cyclical law" carries practical and broad warning significance: disregarding social injustice and the polarization between the rich and the poor means that even if a temporary "golden age" is achieved, it will only be a golden age for the "ruling elites" (literally "princes, nobles, generals and ministers") rather than one for the general public.
