This project aimed to raise awareness among students of the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) program about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at Centro Educa Mais Paulo VI. To better teach the topic, a playful approach and informative lectures were adopted. To reinforce and enhance the learning of all 17 SDGs, a memory game was used, and students were asked to write argumentative essays on current topics addressing the SDGs. The execution of this extension activity, carried out in partnership between the State University of Maranhão (UEMA) and Centro Educa Mais Paulo VI, demonstrated effectiveness in raising students' awareness and understanding of the SDGs, which were previously unknown to them. The students showed enthusiasm and high participation, whose involvement in the activities not only facilitated the development of new skills and competencies essential for academic life but also enabled them to understand, identify, and collectively seek solutions to the complex challenges set out in the 2030 Agenda.
