Summary
The research introduces a new method to develop Business Intelligence solutions which will benefit the internet banking sector. The research design uses literature-based critical success factor analysis together with pre-experimental implementation to assess how decision-making speed improves.
Contribution
The research presents a complete BI development framework which internet banking organizations can use to create their systems because current BI tools do not support effective managerial decision-making. The applied validation process demonstrates the actual advantages which this method can deliver.
Relevance
Business Intelligence serves as a vital tool for banking and financial services organizations because they heavily depend on it yet their decision-making operations stay inefficient and costly while needing substantial resources. The organization operates with operational efficiency because its business model matches the requirements of its particular industry sector.
Approach
The research should combine basic research to develop new methods with applied research which evaluates participants through pre-test and post-test assessments. The evaluation process becomes more precise through time and staffing and cost metrics yet the pre-experimental design prevents researchers from establishing cause-and-effect relationships.
Strengths
The problem statement establishes direct links to present-day business obstacles which organizations must handle at this time.
Practical validation of the proposed methodology
The implementation of operational indicators which can be measured through time and people and cost variables.
Limitations
The research depends on a limited number of participants who work within one specific organization which restricts the ability to apply findings to other situations. The study lacks a control group and depends on human-based measurement techniques which include stopwatches and observer observations for data collection.
Overall assessment
The research provides essential operational knowledge through its development of a structured BI system which enables internet banking operations. The research establishes a fundamental base which scientists can use to conduct additional studies about BI methodology design but the current evidence remains insufficient.
