Physical Education Preprint & Review Club

The Physical Education Preprint & Review Club is coordinated by researchers and graduate students in Physical Education at the State University of Maringá (Brazil) and is connected to initiatives promoted by the Journal of Physical Education (Maringá) to encourage open science practices and innovation in scholarly communication. The initiative aligns with the journal’s editorial commitment to transparency, collaboration, and the recognition of diverse forms of scholarly contribution.

The Physical Education Preprint & Review Club is a collaborative training space where students and early-career researchers discuss preprints in Physical Education and Sport Sciences and learn how to produce constructive peer reviews. Reviews developed within the club are part of a formative and open-science learning environment and are independent from the formal peer-review process of the Journal of Physical Education (Maringá), which follows its own editorial procedures.
