This study presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the Global Englishes (GE) research landscape, mapping its thematic evolution, intellectual structure, and global scholarly contributions. Drawing on 191 peer-reviewed articles indexed in the Web of Science, we employed co-occurrence, co-citation, and bibliographic coupling analyses using VOSviewer to identify prevailing themes, influential scholars, journals, and countries. We also employed CiteSpace and CitNetExplorer for timeline and intellectual visualizations. The analysis revealed five thematic clusters: identity and multilingualism, attitudinal shifts and critical pedagogy, intercultural communication, pedagogical awareness, and curriculum integration. Key figures such as Jenkins, Kachru, Pennycook, and Canagarajah underpin foundational sociolinguistic and critical frameworks, while Galloway, Rose, and Selvi contribute to pedagogical innovation through the Global Englishes Language Teaching (GELT) model. Recent research emphasizes technology integration, teacher identity, and translanguaging, reflecting the responsiveness of the field to educational and societal shifts. The findings also underscore geographic diversity, with contributions spanning Asia, Europe, and beyond. Despite growing scholarly attention, gaps remain in systematically evaluating the impact of GE in teacher education and classroom practice. This study contributes the first holistic, data-driven mapping of GE research and offers insights for future inquiry, curriculum reform, and professional development in English language education across global contexts.
